This policy explains how Inkfluent (ABN 81 174 354 438) ("Inkfluent", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use this website, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Information we collect
- Account details you provide: name, email address, password (stored encrypted, never in plain text).
- Order and shipping details: delivery address, phone number, items purchased, order history.
- Payment information: we never see or store your full card details. Payments are processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor — see Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Basic usage data: pages viewed, products browsed, cart activity, search terms — collected as first-party analytics to help us understand what customers want, not sold or shared with advertisers.
- Anything you send us directly, e.g. a support request or return request.
How we use it
- To process and fulfil your orders, including sending order/shipping details to our print-on-demand partner, Printify, so your items can be printed and shipped.
- To send transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates, password resets) via our email provider, Resend.
- To respond to support requests and process returns/refunds.
- To improve the site and catalogue based on aggregate browsing/purchase patterns.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
We only share personal information with the third parties needed to run the store:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Printify and its print providers — order fulfilment (they receive your name, shipping address, and order contents to print and ship your items).
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Supabase — secure hosting of our database and account system.
We do not sell personal information to anyone.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your cart. We also record first-party usage events (e.g. product views, add-to-cart) to understand how the store is used — these are not shared with third-party ad networks.
Data retention
We keep order records as long as required for accounting, tax, and warranty/returns purposes. You can ask us to delete your account and personal data at any time (see below), subject to records we're legally required to keep.
